Mark Twain and the subject of Travel...

Tom Sawyer came to us as a seeker of Freedom who traveled on the Mississippi River through the writings of Mark Twain. I just spoke to my sister to wish her a Happy Birthday and during our telephone conversation she reminded me of one of his quotes:

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts." Mark Twain"

After the past 9 weeks of travel across the beautiful, warm-hearted country, I can tell you this; Travel should be mandatory for all US citizens. If you find you can't travel but would love to see this country, perhaps, I can help. As I continue my travels through the remaining 24 states and the District of Columbia, I will do my best to interpret the sights, people, food, famine and everything good and evil across this vast space we call home.

Stay tuned
