The perfect situation

Mozi likes her oil. Spits it out like a child with a mouth full of spinach! So I have to stop once in a while to give her another dose. A quart a day keeps the mechanic away.

The engineers at Moto Guzzi must not have thought this one detail out very well. When the bike is parked with it's kickstand down against terra firma, the motorcycle is leaning to the left. Make sense?

The oil plug is also on the left side and almost impossible to pour oil into unless you are a Meerkat, which I am not. So finding a guard rail along the side of the road provides a nice right hand leaning post to position the engine, and all other parts of the motorcycle, in the correct posture for installing oil without an IV set up.

Also, Mozi is occassionally having problems turning over when I hit the starter button for some unknown reason. Therefore, finding a guard rail on the side of the road just before a downhill incline gives me an added bonus.

For Mozi and me, life is good!

P. S. Don't let me forget to post the pictures of my ultimate McGyver moment last night. It involves the ignition Coil on Mozi, a spare sparkplug, a roll of bailing wire and a McDonalds napkin soaked in gasoline to start a campfire in the middle of Nowhere, Oregon where there is no cell signal, no GPS and no matches!
