I am a guy! We don't always feel the need for showers, fresh changing of clothes and making our hair pretty for other bikers (motorcyclists) to admire.
Case in point:
The picture posted with this message shows a very comfortable pair of sock that were once pretty and clean and perhaps emitted a hint of Downy Floral scented fabric softener.
That was long ago. Things have changed since this pair provided me with protection from the harsh black leather boots I wear when riding Mozi. The leather has tainted the purity of the cotton fabric and no matter how many different ways one might try, the socks will always be stained with the preserved hide of a black cow.
I give these socks, and the two solid days spent on the scent of my feet, to the Days Inn trash bin.
May they rest in peace.
Speaking of rest, I am at the Days Inn of Chesterfield, VA to catch up on a little sleep. It is a little after 5PM and I have an 11:00PM wake up call.
I understand 5.something hours is never enough for some folks, but for me it is plenty. Plus, departing Chesterfield just before midnight will provide cool asphalt, gentle breezes and less idiots to weave through while just trying to get from point "A" to "PV".

I have embarked on a solo cross-country trip on a vintage motorcycle "Mozi" to research, discuss and discover what Americans think and believe about Freedom. Follow me as I travel through the 48 connected states to meet and talk with average Americans about our freedom as a nation as well as individual Freedom.
