Mobile communications at it's finest

Hello all!
A last minute scrambling for parts that I will feel better having with me on the journey made me kick into "Techno-Man" mode while riding across Cape Cod today.

I need a new right side cylinder head before taking a trip, to stop the overheating of the metal which has suffered some damaging puncture marks from it's past life. Perhaps, I should buy a matching pair to assure balance in the compression of each cylinder.

I found them on ebay using my Blackberry while riding across Vineyard Sound in a ferry boat. I made an offer to purchase these parts and recieved a phone call within minutes of the offer on Ebay. I answered the call using the in-helmet communications device which is connected my bluetooth technology to my cell phone.

As the conversation was leading to a deal between buyer ans seller, I pulled off of route 28 and put the kick stand down. I opened my rear pack and turned on my Toshiba 17" laptop and went online using a Verizon Wireless Chip. I logged onto Ebay and made the purchase, including overnight charges to assure their safe arrival tomorrow (Friday, June 11, 2010).

Now that I have packed all of this away, I am back in the saddle again...
